Bendi Score Methodology

Our proprietary risk assessment methodology helps procurement and sustainability teams make confident sourcing decisions backed by data-driven intelligence.

How We Calculate This Score

Bendi's Supplier Score is a holistic risk rating designed to help procurement and sustainability teams make confident decisions. We combine verified data from over 100 sources with proprietary analysis to generate a score out of 100 across three risk dimensions.

Score Components

  • Environment (E)

Assesses environmental violations, resource intensity, ecological risks, and climate vulnerability.

  • Social (S)

Includes labour rights, worker safety, equity indicators, and community impact.

  • Governance (G)

Covers ownership transparency, sanctions, regulatory compliance, and legal history.

Data Sources

We collect and analyse data from:

  • Government databases (e.g. OFAC, OSHA, national trade registries)
  • NGOs and ethical sourcing networks (e.g. Sedex, OAR)
  • Satellite and location-based risk signals
  • Media and whistleblower reports
  • Financial and legal filings

How to Use It

Our scores help you detect early warnings, prioritise audits, and address risk beyond tier-1 suppliers. A low score signals elevated risk exposure—not confirmed misconduct.

Scores are continuously refreshed. Each report includes the last update date and flags for missing or outdated data.
